I feel the same, except my passion is experimental films. There is something about independent films and short films that really appeals to me. I guess that when something is created from passion and heart, rather than money, it just feels so honest, AND interesting. Being a visual artist and translating that skill to the film medium has so many exciting prospects for me. I’ll say that social media, Instagram, TicToc, etc., have all forced humans to create “creative content,” and this has changed the visual world that we live in. Everyone is a filmmaker if you think about it, in terms of the internet. The desire to entertain and be entertained is bigger than ever now.
